Jen Massengale is a seasoned fitness professional with 25+ years of experience as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and nutrition coach. In 2023, she opened an indoor cycling studio at The Velvet Mill in Stonington, combining her passion for fitness with her desire to build a vibrant community. Her studio quickly expanded into an adjoining space, which now features a weight room and strength training area. Jen thrives on working with people of all abilities, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can achieve their fitness goals together.

Known for her enthusiasm for whole foods and locally sourced nutrition, Jen is deeply connected with local farmers and restaurants, further aligning her health coaching with her values. Her fitness journey began with cardio kickboxing and grew to include strength training, boot camp workouts, and competitive road racing. It was during her triathlon training that she discovered a love for open water swimming, prompting her to create specialized programs for swimmers of all levels, both in local pools and open water.

This philosophy helps reduce the risk of overuse injuries and burnout while promoting broader athletic development, allowing for a healthier, more balanced approach to sports and fitness.
