Lucas is dedicated to providing youth and adults with opportunities to attend and compete in high-quality cycling events across Connecticut. Growing up in Stonington, Lucas started riding and racing at age 12 with Mystic Velo Club and the Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program (CCAP).

After graduating from Stonington High School in 2021, he attended Colorado State University, where he earned a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. While out west, Lucas raced as a Cat 1 Professional Amateur rider with Rio Grande Elite Cycling and served as President of the CSU Cycling Team, managing a club of more than 80 members competing across all cycling disciplines.

Now back home, Lucas is committed to giving back to the Connecticut cycling community in the same way it provided him with countless incredible experiences on the bike and a lifelong love for the sport. Lucas currently works full-time as an Event Coordinator for CCAP and volunteers on the board of Bike Stonington.
